Meet Our Coaches

Pete Kowalski

Owner & Director of Player Development

With 20+ years of coaching experience, Pete brings deep knowledge of player development and athletic performance.
A Pewaukee HS graduate and UW–Oshkosh Kinesiology alum, he competed in baseball and football and led hitting for
13 seasons at GRB STiKS. At TruNorth, he oversees hitting instruction and the Strength & Conditioning program.

Tom Loper

Owner & Director of Baseball Operations

Tom has coached multiple elite travel programs including Team Wisconsin, STiKS GRB, Midwest Halos, and Elite
tournament teams. An Arrowhead HS Hall-of-Famer, he played football at UW–Madison under Barry Alvarez and later
competed 10 seasons in the Land O’ Lakes League. At TruNorth, he leads operations and parent communications.

Brian Henschel

Director of Pitching Development

Brian has 20+ years of coaching experience with Hitters, U.S. Baseball Academy, and Ed Cedars Baseball Academy.
He played 24 seasons in the Land O’ Lakes League and six professional seasons with the San Angelo Colts, holding
franchise records in wins, shutouts, and strikeouts. His coaching philosophy: master every detail of pitching to
help athletes reach their highest potential.
